This 6-day Northern Tanzania safari covers the classic highlights in a well-paced route. After arrival in Arusha, guests explore Tarangire’s elephant herds and baobab landscapes before heading into the wildlife-rich Central Serengeti for two full game-viewing days in the Seronera region, famous for big cats and year-round action. The journey then transitions through the Ngorongoro Highlands with an optional Olduvai Gorge visit, culminating in a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a final Big Five-focused safari before departure from Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Expect a warm Welcome from our Nomiles driver who will already be there on time to receive you at the airport (JRO Airport) for a pick-up and transfer you to overnight accommodation at River Trees Country Inn.
Enjoy your early breakfast before departing to Tarangire National Park, popular for large elephant herds, gigantic baobab trees in breathtaking savannas, with the Tarangire River flowing all year, acting as a water source for wild animals during seasons. Overnight at Escarpment Manyara.
After breakfast, we will begin our expedition to the central Serengeti, known as the big cat capital of Africa and for its endless plains, humming with abundant wildlife, and the epic Great Migration. The Central Serengeti is studded with many rocky granite outcrops, known as kopjes, which are where you should look out for lions and cheetahs. Overnight at Kirimu Camps.
Following a hearty breakfast, you will enjoy a full day game drive witnessing cheetahs on the endless golden plains, the Seronera river valley, top sightings of lions’ prides on the kopje, clandestine leopards in trees, and immense herds of elephants and buffalo. Overnight at Kirimu camps.

Early morning tour in the Ngorongoro crater the world’s largest intact and unfilled volcanic caldera that was formed approximately 2.5 million years ago when a massive volcano with an area covering almost 260 square kilometers, and a home to over 25,000 animals, including the big five: elephants, buffalo, rhinos, lions, and leopards. The diverse habitat, comprising lush grasslands, swamps, and forests, makes it a prime location for wildlife viewing. Afternoon lunch at Hippo pool picnic site, followed by a transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your outbound flight.
