Following breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Tarangire National Park. The park derives its name from the Tarangire River, which flows through its center and serves as a crucial dry-season water source for wildlife, most notably large herds of elephants. The area is also home to over 500 bird species and iconic baobab trees—often called the “tree of life”—which can live for over 600 years. Enjoy a hearty breakfast before embarking on the journey to the Central Serengeti National Park. This iconic landscape centers around the world-famous Seronera Valley, famed for its remarkable concentration of wildlife. Following breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Central Serengeti. We then journey north, with guided game viewing along the way. Arriving in the Northern Serengeti, an afternoon safari awaits, offering a chance to witness the legendary Mara River crossings of the Great Migration, along with possible sightings of the rare oribi antelope, black rhino, and big cats. The day concludes with an overnight stay at Baobab Mara Camp.
A full day of game drives awaits in the Northern Serengeti, where you will traverse a wilderness of stunning landscapes teeming with wildlife. The premier attraction is the sight of immense migratory herds of wildebeest and zebra. The Serengeti’s distinction as a protected but unfenced ecosystem is fundamental, ensuring animals can continue their timeless migratory patterns. You will spend another night at Baobab Mara Camp.
Bid farewell to the Serengeti with a final morning safari before departing for the Ngorongoro Highlands. En route, you can opt to engage with Maasai culture through a village visit or delve into deep history at Olduvai Gorge, the famed “Cradle of Mankind.” As dusk falls, settle into your accommodation at Ngorongoro Crater’s Edge.
The final day begins with an early breakfast and a descent into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a final half-day game drive. This iconic caldera is celebrated for both its scenery and its remarkable biodiversity, providing an outstanding chance to see Africa’s Big Five. The crater’s rich habitat supports a vast population of over 26,000 large mammals and 500 bird species. After the drive, we ascend and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport, concluding the safari.
